Xbox Advanced Technology Group (ATG)
My current role is as a software engineer on Microsoft's Advanced Technology Group based in Redmond, Washington, USA. I work with game studios developing titles for Windows, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
I was a graphics and engine programmer at Lionhead for a little over 3 years. While there I worked on Milo & Kate and Fable: The Journey. Milo & Kate had a proprietary engine that targeted visual quality and a cinematic feel. Fable: The Journey was an Unreal Engine 3 title.
I worked on Geomerics' Enlighten global illumination technology between 2007 and 2009, and because the company was quite small I ended up doing a variety of things. One of the largest bodies of work was integrating the SDK into Epic's Unreal Engine 3.
